We are currently seeking a GENERAL MANAGER. This individual should possess strong leadership qualities, a thorough understanding of the operations of running a bar, an understanding of the Sizzle Pie look/feel/brand identity, overall restaurant operations and a desire to improve all things Sizzle Pie.
Some things that we look for:
-5+ years in restaurant management preferred.
-A STRONG emphasis on BAR is a plus.
-Representing Sizzle Pie philosophy on hospitality by constantly staying on top of expectations
-Knowing and upholding to Sizzle Pie standards all facets and levels of the restaurant operation
-Keeping all federal, state, county, city permits and certifications updated, posted and current
-Administration including HR, payroll, $, paperwork and accounting
-Knowing, managing, and striving to meet all quarterly sales and cost goals
-Communicating regularly with the upper management (Biweekly Reports)
-Planning and conducting efficient, effective meetings
-Having the final say in all department schedules
-Being accountable to every department in the restaurant; Bar, Counter, Prep, Cook, Dish
-Hiring/firing
-Coaching; i.e. leading by example, assistant manager development, lead development
-Equipment preventative maintenance
-For any and all emergency issues that may arise with the building and equipment
-All things POS
-Community outreach with special events and donations
-Implementing all menu changes
-Employee performance reviews
-Having restaurant eyes by knowing your restaurant’s weaknesses from the moment you walk in, i.e. temperature set to proper temp, bussed tables, light bulbs changed, music at appropriate volume, overall cleanliness of the restaurant etc.
-Conducting yourself as a manager on and off the clock; remember that YOU represent Sizzle Pie
