The Address Sligo are seeking a reliable and professional Night Porter to oversee front-of-house operations during overnight hours at our 4-star luxury hotel. This role is responsible for ensuring guest comfort and safety, maintaining security standards, and supporting smooth hotel operations throughout the night.  

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide a warm and professional welcome to late arrivals and assist with check-in/check-out procedures

• Respond promptly and efficiently to guest queries and requests during the night

• Conduct regular security and fire safety checks and report any irregularities

• Complete nightly audit procedures and ensure accurate documentation

• Assist with luggage handling and room service deliveries, including early breakfast requests

• To carry out any Room Service Orders required after 11 pm to an agreed standard. The kitchen and food preparation areas must be maintained in a clean manner.

• To cover Bar Service once bar staff has left ensuring correct and diligent cash and stock procedures.  

• Maintain cleanliness of public areas, reception, the spa and gym areas

• Complete detailed handover reports and communicate any incidents to the morning team
