What Does Your Role Bring to the table?

The Snooze Talent Acquisition Lead will facilitate the full-cycle hiring process, from sourcing candidates to ensuring the onboarding experience is a Snoozy introduction to our company and culture. This person will play a significant role in the future of Snooze. We are seeking a driven and strategic talent expert who is excited about our growth trajectory and committed to getting aces in places. This role will be assisting in refining our recruiting processes, leveraging technology, and building Snooze’s management and hourly talent pipeline for future growth. You will join a team of people-focused, culture-rich food lovers who are responsible for maintaining a strong culture through seasons of growth and expansion.

The Position specifics!

Taking on the role of Talent Acquisition Lead isn’t just about bacon and pancakes. The responsibilities of this position include:

  • Manage the full-cycle recruitment process for salaried and hourly candidates
  • Source, attract, select, offer, negotiate, and onboarding of Snoozers. Positions include: Assistant General Managers, General Managers, Head Chefs, Sous Chefs, and Hourly staff
  • Perform in-person interviews, phone interviews, video interviews, and working interviews with candidates
  • Ensure all Snooze candidates have an excellent experience, regardless of whether they are hired
  • Assist restaurants in advertising, sourcing, and recruiting for hourly positions.
  • Work collaboratively with Regional Managers to create regional staffing plans and support General Managers with hourly hiring needs
  • Champion, educate, and influence leaders to adapt quickly to talent acquisition strategies and staffing goals
  • Ensure new restaurant openings are fully staffed with managers and hourly Snoozers
  • Attract passive candidates by using recruiting resources and crafting effective and engaging communication
  • Network and build relationships with various organizations and professional industry contacts to build and strengthen the talent pipeline and recruitment tools
  • Master the applicant tracking system (ATS) by managing job lifecycles, job posts, and candidate pools
  • Understand, prioritize, and strategize the hiring needs for our markets
  • Reporting: weekly open positions report, time to fill, referral bonus, etc.
  • Collaborate with Sr. Manager of Talent Acquisition to meet all department goals.
  • Other responsibilities may be established based on company goals and priorities.

  • Proficient use of Microsoft Office tools e.g. Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Strong MS Excel knowledge required to perform complex calculations, merge data from multiple tables/sources, and scrub data
  • Knowledge and experience with all social media platforms: LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter
  • Knowledge, experience, and strategic sourcing abilities with recruiting sites such as Glassdoor, Indeed, Craigslist, Sirvo, Hcareers, CareerBuilder, Snagit, Zip Recruiter, and Monster.
  • Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems such as Harri, Taleo, Workday, iCIMS, TalentReef, Greenhouse, Work pop

 

Let’s talk prerequisites! (Education, credentials, and experience)

  • Bachelor’s degree level education preferred (or other relevant certifications or trainings)
  • 3+ years working directly in the recruitment and talent management field
  • Must have a minimum of 1 years experience in hospitality or restaurant management role with ownership of interviewing and hiring

  • Must have the stamina to work 40-50 hours per week
  • Required travel of 20% and ability to travel up to 5 days at one time (air, bus, train and weekend travel required)
  • Home base in Denver, CO at the Snooze Mothership (remote working options available if the home base is in an existing Snooze market)

Denver area base salary range: $65,000-$85,000 per year

The base salary range below represents the low and high end of the Snooze salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to experience, education, training, location, merit system, quantity or quality of production, responsibilities, and regular and/or necessary travel. The range listed is just one component of Snooze’s total compensation package for employees.
