What does your role bring to the table?

The Snoozer Experience Specialist is the expert in providing our Guests (the Snoozers who create magic at our restaurants) with an exceptional level of service.  You are expected to deliver upon our mission to bring out the best in our Snoozers and Guests. As the first voice our Snoozers hear when they reach out to the People + Culture Team for assistance, you need to be the champion of Snooze’s culture and the person Snoozers can rely on to assist them with their people-related needs all in a timely manner. You should be passionate about the Snooze brand and an advocate of the Snooze Compass, constantly looking for ways to uphold the standards and excellence of the company. The Snoozer Experience Specialist is a vital member of the People + Culture Team who will champion and execute processes and administrative tasks that will help Snooze maintain and grow an everlasting People-First culture. Cultivating a place to work where an individual’s uniqueness is celebrated, people are appreciated, and our work environments are safe is a key ingredient to our success.

 

The Position specifics!

Taking on the role of Snoozer Experience Specialist isn’t just about bacon and pancakes. The responsibilities of this position include:

  • Owns the administrative tasks associated with the entire Life cycle of Snoozer, including but not limited to: new hire paperwork, on-boarding, location and position changes, name changes and terminations.  
  • Oversees the Snooze Safety inbox, independently providing guidance on all safety protocol related to a range of illnesses.  Including – but not limited to: COVID-19, Flu, Workplace Injuries, etc.
  • Owns the customer service function by answering and responding to employee requests and questions. 
  • Responsible for I-9 compliance, and overseeing/executing additional monthly audits to ensure all Snooze leaders are adhering to Snooze process and procedures.
  • Provides support in all things unemployment by partnering with our unemployment vendor to to claims and provide the necessary information. Will partner with the Snoozer Experience Generalist to help  design and implement programs which will reinforce our unemployment management process. Role is expected to provide guidance to Snoozers who have questions or need support.
  • Respond to Medical Support Notices by gathering the information needed to respond to the notice, completing the form, and mailing it back to the governing agency. 
  • Responsible for maintaining compliance posters/ID Checking Guides to ensure each restaurant has up-to-date versions. Order and distribute Federal and State compliance posters as needed. 
  • Generates and provides reporting to support People + Culture Team needs such as workers compensation claims, retention analytics, compliance, EEO-1 and other reporting, as needed. 
  • Conducts audits of employee files, benefits and other HR programs as requested.
  • Maintains and assists with Mothership on-boarding and employee files as requested
  • Additional responsibilities based on company goals/objectives/priorities.

  • A passion for process, paperwork and compliance.
  • The desire to create and nurture authentic relationships with every Snoozer you encounter.
  • Ability to have fun, dance and laugh under/during stressful situations or anytime really (yes, seriously) 

 

Let’s talk prerequisites! (Education, credentials, and experience)

  • Must be authorized to work in the United States
  • 1+ years of experience in the human resources or other relevant sector 
  • 3+ years of experience working directly in food service, hospitality, or retail sectors (or other relevant service sector).
  • Human Resources Management Certification is a plus- SHRM-CP or aPHR or higher.

 

Let’s get physical! (additional requirements)

  • Must have the stamina to work 45 to 55 hours per week
  • Some weekend coverage required
  • The travel required for this position is approximately 10% and you must be able to travel for up to 5 days at one time (air, car, bus. Train, and weekend travel all required)
  • Home base is in Denver, CO at the Snooze Mothership (hybrid work plan optional)

 

The Nitty Gritty Details

Denver area base salary range: $55,000 – $75,000 per year

The base salary range below represents the low and high end of the Snooze salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to experience, education, training, location, merit system, quantity or quality of production, responsibilities, and regular and/or necessary travel. The range listed is just one component of Snooze’s total compensation package for employees.
