Job Title: Warehouse & Logistics Manager
Location: Cheltenham (5 days a week, across 7 days)

Job Purpose
The Warehouse & Logistics Manager is responsible for the overall leadership, performance and development of the warehouse and transport operation.
The role ensures products are received, stored, picked and delivered safely, efficiently and cost-effectively whilst maintaining exceptional service levels to all SOHO Coffee locations.
They will provides leadership and direction to the Transport Supervisor, Warehouse Assistant Manager and Warehouse Supervisor, ensuring the operation delivers against agreed service, stock, labour, compliance and financial targets.
The role is accountable for warehouse operations, transport performance, stock integrity, fleet compliance, people management and continuous improvement across the supply chain operation.
Key Responsibilities
· Lead, motivate and develop the Transport and Warehouse Management teams, supporting them to build a high-performing warehouse and transport team. Manage recruitment, induction, training and succession planning.
· Promote a culture of accountability, ownership and continuous improvement.
· Ensure effective communication across all operational teams.
· Oversee the daily transport operation, ensuring all deliveries are completed safely, accurately and on time as well as continuously reviewing route planning and driving transport efficiencies.
· Ensure all vehicles remain compliant with safety and legal requirements, whilst controlling transport costs, fuel usage and fleet expenditure.
· Manage transport-related incidents, investigations and corrective actions.
· Maintain contingency plans for breakdowns and operational disruptions.
· Oversee all warehouse activities including goods-in, storage, picking, dispatch and stock control, maintaining accurate inventory records and stock integrity.
· Deliver agreed service levels to stores and operational teams.
· Monitor labour productivity and workforce planning, delivering on budget expectations
· Ensure compliance with all company policies and legal requirements, maintaining high health & safety standards across all departments.
· Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene and temperature control requirements.
· Work closely with Operations Managers and Store teams, Finance, Procurement and Supply Chain teams, as well as external suppliers.
Required Qualifications and Experience
· Proven warehouse and logistics management experience.
· Strong understanding of inventory management and stock control.
· Strong understanding of fleet and transport management.
· Commercial awareness and cost control experience.
· Full UK Driving Licence.
· FMCG, foodservice or hospitality distribution experience would be preferable.
· Experience using warehouse management and fleet management systems.
· Knowledge of temperature-controlled logistics.
· Experience managing multi-site delivery operations.
· Experience managing third-party logistics providers and transport suppliers.
