We're looking for a  Sous Chef to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of previous experience in kitchen management, be able to work well with a team, and be familiar with kitchen equipment including refrigerators and ovens. This is a fantastic opportunity to join an innovative and energetic team that develops recipes and serves delicious food that influences our products and delights our customers.

Responsibilities:

  • Use safe food handling techniques when working with meat, seafood, poultry, and other products
  • Set up food preparation areas, including equipment, knives, and station layout
  • Ensure that appropriate food handling, storage, and preparation methods are used for each product
  • Respond to questions from kitchen staff about food preparation and product ingredients
  • Plan, prepare, and cook menus in accordance with the standards of the restaurant
  • Direct the work of kitchen staff
  • Maintain healthy working relationships with fellow employee
