Job description
South Fin Grill in Staten Island is seeking a qualified Food Runner. Food Runners are the connection between the F.O.H. and B.O.H. and eliminate a lot of stress and discord by communicating information between cooks and servers. They also make sure the food goes out at the right time looking precisely as the Chef intended. The main responsibility for this position is to deliver food to guests in a friendly, professional & knowledgeable manner. Applicants should be able to work well under pressure, be professional, efficient, detail-oriented, and courteous. We expect a team player attitude for this position. Must have a flexible schedule.

Responsibilities:
Knowledge of all the ingredient details of every dish on the menu
Delivering food to guest quickly and efficiently
Communicating clearly with the kitchen and front of house staff
Previous experience is a plus, but not required.

Requirements
Previous restaurant experience will be considered a plus
Customer-oriented approach and patience
Problem solving and decision making skills
Excellent people skills
Responsible and trustworthy
Attention to cleanliness and safety
High school diploma will be considered a plus
