The role…
We have a superb opportunity for a Doorman who will support the Front of House team with the arrival and departure of our guests. You will need to have a friendly and outgoing personality, a can-do attitude, a flexible approach to work and a passion for customer service excellence. 

Previous experience of working in a hotel environment is desirable although not essential as fully training will be given.

Reports to: Front of House Manager/Assistant Front of House Manager 

As a Doorman at our 5* prestigious hotel, you will be the first point of contact for Guests, ensuring elegance, and professionalism that defines our brand.

You are responsible for creating a welcoming and memorable arrival and departure experience, offering outstanding customer service while maintaining the highest standards of Hospitality, appearance and efficiency.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

·         Greet Guests and visitors warmly with a professional demeanour, offering assistance with doors, luggage from Concierge or directions.

·         Open doors for arriving and departing Guests, ensuring smooth flow at the Front of House.

·         Co-ordinate with Concierge to manage Guest arrivals and departures efficiently if applicable.

·         Co-ordinate with Valet parking Concierge if applicable.

·         Ensure cleanliness and orderliness of the hotel entrance and surrounding areas at all times.

·         Provide Guests with accurate information regarding hotel facilities, services, and local attractions.

·         Monitor Guest flow and report and security or safety concerns to the line Manager.

·         Maintain a polished appearance and adhere to hotels grooming standards.

·         Handle special requests with discretion and efficiency to the necessary personnel.

·         Build a rapport with Guests and VIP’s remembering names and preferences to personalise service.
