Summary:
Southbound is looking for a unique General Manager to compliment our growing team as we open a new restaurant and rooftop in Wynwood. The restaurant's cuisine is under the direction of James Beard Award winning Chef Norman Van Aken. This is an amazing opportunity for the right person!
Experience:
4+ years as a General Manager
College Degree Preferred
Must have property opening experience
P&L knowlege
Genuine passion and knowledge of food and beverage
The Restaurant General Manager reports directly to ownership.
Essental Functions:
*Oversee all aspects day-to-day operation and make final decisions on matters of importance
*Responsable for ensuring that all financial (invoices, reporting) and personal/payroll related administrative duties are completed accurately, on time, and in accordance with company policy.
*Supervision of all Front of the House employees
*Ongoing and training of management and hourly staff
*Self-discipline, initiative, leadership ability, and outgoing.
*Must possess good communication skills for dealing with diverse staff and maintaining positive guest interactions.
*Ability to coordinate multiple tasks
*Provide strong presence in the local community and high level of community involvement.
