Be our Spa Reception Manager but most importantly be you!

If you love the spa world but don’t want to be hands-on as a therapist anymore, this could be your perfect next step. We’re looking for someone with real spa experience – ideally a qualified therapist or someone who has worked in a spa environment – who now wants to focus on guest journey, operations and team leadership rather than treatments.

At Homewood we approach the serious matter of hospitality with a huge amount of imagination and a delicate touch of mischief. You will be part of our zesty team who are passionate about our 31 bedroom hotel with incredible spa and dining space.
We love to create unexpected little moments of delight with talking points as you journey through our hotel. A collection of glamorous chandeliers or random sculptures around the gardens, a giant teddy bear for instance! We all know that really our team is the cherry on the cake and that’s why we are waiting for you…

As Spa Reception Manager, you’ll enjoy:

What you’ll be doing as Spa Reception Manager

This role is perfect for you if you know the spa world inside out, enjoy structure and organisation, and get a buzz from creating a smooth, special experience for every guest.

You will:

  • Be the warm welcome and friendly goodbye for all spa guests – members, hotel guests and day visitors

  • Supervise and support our spa receptionists and spa assistants, helping the team deliver a consistently brilliant experience

  • Use your therapy/spa background to understand treatments, timings and flow – and translate that into a slick, well-run day for both guests and therapists

  • Keep on top of spa administration (bookings, reporting, rotas, stock, communication) with pride and accuracy

  • Stay hands-on during busy periods – supporting the team, ensuring guest areas remain beautiful and calmly sorting any little issues

  • Spot and act on sales opportunities naturally – recommending upgrades, retail, and perhaps serving a coffee or a glass of champagne

  • Create an approachable, relaxed atmosphere for members and guests so they feel at home from arrival to departure

  • Feel valued as you drive engagement in the team and positively influence our culture, our business and our guests’ experience

Who we’re looking for

  • You have experience in a spa environment – ideally as a therapist or in spa reception/coordination

  • Ready to step up if needed, supporting the Spa Manager when and where needed

  • You love the spa and wellness world but are ready to step away from doing treatments

  • You’re confident using booking systems and comfortable with admin and reporting, full training will be provided

  • You’re naturally warm, personable and sales-aware

  • You enjoy leading and supporting a team

  • You have great attention to detail and care about standards and guest journey
