At The Headland, we blend Heritage with Heart to create unforgettable experiences. We are deeply committed to putting the Cornish community first and protecting our stunning coastline. As a proud EarthCheck partner, eco-friendly practices are in our DNA. We don't just talk about sustainability; we live it every day. Together, we provide effortless, elevated hospitality in spaces designed for everyone—where our guests (and their four-legged friends!) can relax, play, and make lifelong memories.
We have an exciting role available for a Spa Receptionist to be the first point of contact for guests and members at all times and ensure a warm, memorable and personalised welcome to the Aqua Club & Headland Spa. The Aqua Club is our multi-million-pound leisure complex. Containing six pools, a sun terrace with impressive ocean views, and a stunning restaurant named The Deck.
As our Spa Receptionist will work across both Reception desks in the Aqua Club and Headland Spa, greeting every guest with a smile and using your natural warmth to make every interaction memorable. You will know and understand what it means to deliver genuine hospitality and will thrive on the challenge of always exceeding our guests and members expectations.
Organised and confident, you will demonstrate an ability to multitask in a busy but relaxed environment by the coast, whilst maintaining a proactive and passionate approach to guest care. At the Headland, we pride ourselves on our ‘one-team’ approach, therefore a team-work mindset will benefit you greatly in forming excellent relationships with both the Aqua Club, Spa and wider hotel team.
Our ideal Spa Receptionist will be able to demonstrate previous experience working within a leisure/spa environment. Previous experience using Microsoft packages and spa/hotel management/booking software such as Maestro would be preferable, although full training will be given by our experienced team. Previous Spa/Beauty Therapist experience would be a distinct advantage, as would good product knowledge of Elemis and Seabody, however this is not essential.
This is a permanent position based on a 32-hour working week including evenings, weekends and bank holidays.
