Situated in the historic building of Boswells, a renowned department store and Oxford institution, our 101-bedroom hotel delights guests with a sense of curiosity and wonder, reflecting the rich heritage of the building’s former life.
Our growing team is already full of dedicated and passionate professionals working hard to see The Store bring a new and refreshed luxury lifestyle hotel experience to the city of Oxford.
Cocooned in walnut panelled walls, our luxurious spa is located on the lower ground floor and offers three treatment rooms a steam room, sauna, thermal relaxation area, and gym.
Alongside treatments from world-renowned British brand, Oskia.
Oskia take a results-driven approach to treatments, combining bespoke anti-ageing techniques, drawing both on traditional knowledge and modern advancements, to leave the skin, body and mind rejuvenated and glowing.
Oskia facials, massages, body treatments, personal training and yoga are available to guests of The Store, and the public. We have created something special, and we are looking for a talented part time Spa Therapist to help us drive this forward.
Does this role appeal to you?
The Spa Therapist plays a pivotal role within the business, driving the revenue in the Spa through effective sales whilst working alongside all other departments in the hotel.
As an ambassador for the Spa and all things wellness, this role ensures outstanding guest relations, driving and delivering The Stores brand standards. Providing and maintaining the highest standard of personal appearance and hygiene.
Our Spa Therapist will take great care in ensuring that when guests arrive at the spa they are greeted, movements co-ordinated, and needs and requests anticipated.
Working alongside the spa team to continuously seek ways to enhance the spa experience for our guests and implement improvements accordingly.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining a clean, hygienic, and safe environment for guests and staff.
We’re looking for someone who is naturally confident and highly driven, with exceptional customer service. The successful candidate will have previous experience of working in a hotel or events venue in a customer facing role, preferably with operational experience. This is a varied role where no one day will be the same, a role that will require plenty of energy and motivation.
