  • Support the Estate to Plate philosophy by working with produce from the Walled Garden and ingredients sourced from across the estate and local area.
  • Maintain high culinary standards in line with the Head Chef's expectations.

Kitchen Operations

  • Demonstrate an understanding of menu planning, stock control, stock rotation, and waste management.
  • Complete daily and weekly procedures, including temperature checks, food labelling, dating, and storage.
  • Assist with the receipt and storage of deliveries in accordance with company procedures.
  • Maintain exceptional standards of cleanliness and organisation throughout the kitchen.

Teamwork & Communication

  • Maintain a positive, professional, and approachable attitude at all times.
  • Work collaboratively with kitchen and front of house teams to deliver outstanding guest experiences.
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues and management at all levels.
  • Attend training and development opportunities as required.
  • Undertake additional duties and responsibilities as reasonably requested by senior chefs.

Health, Safety & Hygiene

  • Adhere to all food hygiene, health and safety, and company procedures.
  • Ensure all food safety records and documentation are completed accurately.
  • Maintain excellent standards of cleanliness across your section and the wider kitchen.
  • Identify and report hazards, defects, or equipment issues promptly.
  • Follow all emergency procedures, including fire safety protocols.
  • Maintain the highest standards of personal hygiene, appearance, and professional conduct.

  • Has proven experience as a Breakfast Chef or in a similar role within a professional kitchen.
  • Has a genuine passion for fresh, seasonal, and locally sourced ingredients.
  • Is highly organised and able to work confidently and independently during breakfast service.
