Spoon Table & Bar is a bustling, family owned and operated restaurant in Midtown Manhattan, focusing on locally sourced, farm-to-table comfort food with an elevated and energetic style. Spoon features a weekday happy hour on weekends from 3pm-8pm with a vibrant crowd of young professionals, and a bustling brunch service on weekends with a high volume and quick turn over.
Spoon is now looking for experienced and excited busser/runners to add to our diverse team, and bring a fresh electricity to our close-knit family of passionate employees. We're looking for a creatively driven individual who will bring their own flair.
They shifts we are looking to cover: Monday (7:45am-3:30pm), Tuesday (7:45am-3:30pm), Friday (5:00pm-10:00pm)
Part-time with opportunities to pick up shifts/potential to expand to full-time.
Responsibilities Will Include:
-Serving as both runner and busser for AM/PM shifts.
-Become familiar with the menu and food presentation.
-Learning tables and seat numbers to run food.
-Set the floor appropriately, and reset as tables leave as quickly, cleanly, and efficiently as possible.
-Assist servers and bartenders in running drinks, and aiding tables.
-Assist the kitchen in prep work.
Ideal Candidates Will:
-Have 2+ years in the NYC restaurant scene, or comparable experience
-Be positive, self-motivated, and willing to jump in and support your team with no ego
-English/Spanish a plus
-Bartending/Barista experience a plus
