Up to £45,000 per year, depending on experience | Full-Time

Edesia is looking for an experienced and ambitious Sous Chef to join our kitchen team in the heart of Bath.

We’re looking for a talented chef and confident leader who can support the Head Chef, take ownership during service and help maintain the high standards Edesia is known for.

THE ROLE

• Support the Head Chef with the day-to-day running of the kitchen
• Lead, motivate and support the kitchen team during busy services
• Maintain excellent standards of food quality, consistency and presentation
• Assist with ordering, stock control, preparation and waste management
• Maintain excellent food hygiene and kitchen organisation
• Train and support junior members of the kitchen team
• Confidently take charge of the kitchen when required
• Help create a positive, professional and efficient kitchen environment

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

• Previous experience as a Sous Chef or an experienced Junior Sous Chef ready for the next step
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Excellent culinary skills and attention to detail
• Ability to remain calm and organised during busy services
• Passion for quality food and consistently high standards
• Reliable, professional and team-focused
