Description

We're looking for a highly organised and proactive Production Administrator to join our Production team on a full time, fixed term basis, until September 2027. This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in supporting the smooth running of our brewery by providing administrative support across Engineering, Brewing, Packaging and Quality.

Reporting to the Engineering Manager, working with the wider prodcution team, you'll coordinate purchasing, supplier and contractor administration, maintenance planning, compliance records and Quality Management System (QMS) documentation. You'll also work with colleagues across the wider Production department, ensuring key systems, records and processes remain accurate, organised and audit-ready.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Providing day-to-day administrative support across the Production department, with a particular focus on Engineering activities

  • Ordering engineering parts, utility consumables and general consumables from approved suppliers to maintain stock availability

  • Coordinating suppliers and contractors, ensuring maintenance activities are planned and organised in advance

  • Maintaining engineering records, compliance documentation, utility reports and maintenance information

  • Completing monthly critical spares stock takes and accurately recording parts usage

  • Uploading and maintaining water testing, boiler water, wastewater, contractor maintenance and compliance reports within the Quality Management System

  • Supporting the Quality Assurance team with administrative tasks, including Quality Management System reviews, incoming label positive release, quality index reviews and non-conformance administration

  • Coordinating Engineering team training, maintaining training records and supporting the control of SOPs and Risk Assessments

  • Producing accurate reports and information to support engineering planning and operational decision-making

  • Building effective working relationships with colleagues across Engineering, Brewing, Packaging and Quality, as well as external suppliers and contractors

What We're Looking For

  • Excellent administrative and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy when maintaining records, reports and compliance documentation

  • Confident communication skills with the ability to build positive relationships across departments and with external suppliers

  • Good planning and coordination skills to ensure activities are completed efficiently and on schedule

  • Competent in Microsoft Office and comfortable using digital reporting and administration systems

  • A proactive approach to problem solving, taking ownership of tasks and following actions through to completion

Essential Experience

  • Experience maintaining accurate records, trackers or reports

  • Experience supporting administrative processes and coordinating information across teams

  • Experience using Microsoft Office applications and digital administration systems

  • Experience communicating effectively with internal stakeholders and external suppliers

Desirable Experience

  • Experience supporting engineering, compliance or Quality Assurance documentation

  • Experience supporting audits, training records, non-conformances or Quality Management Systems

  • Experience working within a production, manufacturing, engineering or brewery environment
