? About the Role

As Housekeeping Supervisor, you'll report to the Housekeeping Manager and work closely with another Supervisor and a dedicated Laundry Supervisor to lead our housekeeping operations. With extensive on-site accommodation, including luxurious guest bedrooms and charming self-contained cottages, your leadership will ensure our venue is immaculate and wedding-ready every single day.

This is a hands-on supervisory role where you’ll lead by example, work side-by-side with the team, and take pride in both standards and people development.

? Key Responsibilities

• Team Leadership: Support the Housekeeping Manager by supervising daily housekeeping operations, providing guidance, structure, and motivation to the housekeeping and casual team.

• Venue Standards: Ensure all areas – from grand function rooms and luxury bedrooms to guest cottages and shared spaces – are cleaned and maintained to a consistently high standard.

• Coordination & Communication: Collaborate with the wider leadership team to plan workloads, manage rotas, and communicate priorities clearly across the department.

• Training & Development: Help train new starters and ensure ongoing support for team members, especially seasonal staff, reinforcing high standards and operational excellence.

• Attention to Detail: Conduct quality checks and room inspections to ensure every detail is perfect before guest arrivals.

• Problem Solving: Respond to guest requests and on-the-day changes calmly and efficiently, ensuring minimal disruption and maximum satisfaction.

• Experienced: You’ve worked in housekeeping within a hotel, wedding venue, or similar high-end setting — ideally with some supervisory experience.

• Organised & Proactive: You’re able to prioritise tasks, delegate appropriately, and maintain control over a busy schedule.

• Team-Focused: You enjoy motivating others and thrive in a collaborative leadership environment.
