We are looking for an experienced Maintenance Assistant to join the team in our beautiful wedding venue.
About the role
Reporting to the maintenance supervisor, you will assist with all planned and responsive maintenance related tasks. The maintenance team is key to the upkeep and care of our beautiful listed building creating the perfect environment for each of our weddings. You will be responsible for ensuring the building and grounds are maintained to a high standard.
About you
The ideal individual will have a wide range of transferrable skills with a proactive attitude and initiative. Your practical skills will enable you to undertake a variety of duties including carrying out repairs, general decoration, grounds maintenance, and fire safety checks. Good knowledge of plumbing and/or electrics is also desirable. You will need to apply Health and Safety checks and keep up to date manual records. You will build very good working relationships with colleagues and external contractors and be an approachable person with very high standards.
