Bar Manager

We are a boutique, independent, family run hotel set in the beautiful Hertfordshire countryside

We are currently recruiting for a Bar Manager to run our Stable Piano Bar & Farmyard Restaurant - Our modern art and piano bar serving garden to glass cocktails with live music at weekends.

Bar Manager – what’s involved?

• Management of the Bars on a day to day basis.
• Leading shifts, including training and motivating the team.
• Creating and setting the standards for our garden to bar cocktail menu
• Monitoring and ordering of stock.
• Dealing with customer queries and issues.
• Compiling and implementing staff rotas.
• Ensuring excellent standards of customer service, cleanliness and hygiene

Bar  Manager – who are we looking for?

• An experienced bar manager with good food and drinks knowledge - previous experience in a cocktail bar would be a distinct advantage.
• Someone who is flexible in their work – you must enjoy being a “hands-on” member of a team, while we encourage a work life balance, you must be willing to work the hours required of the business and recognise that we are open 365 days a year.
• Someone who is highly organised and a natural communicator. A people person who enjoys positively impacting on the people you interact with – both customers and other team members.
• An individual who is passionate about hospitality and customer service, there are no clones in suits here and we leave our egos at the door.
• Someone who can be part of creating a team that works hard, supports each other and has fun along the way.
