A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A LINEN PORTER AT  OUR HOTEL

What you'll be doing...

As a Linen Porter, you’ll be responsible for collecting, counting, and distributing linen, assisting room attendants in cleaning guest rooms and public areas and replenishing amenities to deliver an excellent guest experience. 

  • Follow health, safety, and cleanliness standards, helping maintain a safe environment for guests and team members.
  • Support with special requests, like setting up extra beds or delivering extra amenities, going the extra mile to make each stay memorable.
  • Work closely with other departments, especially the front desk and maintenance, to deliver a seamless guest experience

  • About you…

    • Physical fitness and stamina - you’ll be on your feet most of the day
    • Enthusiastic, flexible, passionate & display a professional and courteous attitude
    • Ability to work independently but also be an effective team player
    • An excellent eye for detail with great time management and organisational skills
    • Good communication skills

    THE HOURS

    You will be working a minimum of 2 days per week from 0830am to 3.30pm (shift times can be negotiated).  Week 1 shifts are Thursday/Friday and Week 2 shifts are Saturday/Sunday.  Additional shifts may be available to cover holidays, sickness or busy periods in the Hotel.
