What you’ll be doing

• Welcoming customers into the delicatessen and creating a friendly, memorable experience
• Sharing knowledge about our products, from fresh seafood to sauces, wines, and gift items
• Making thoughtful recommendations and helping customers find the perfect purchase
• Operating tills and handling transactions accurately
• Maintaining high standards of presentation, cleanliness, and stock rotation
• Replenishing displays and ensuring shelves are well stocked
• Supporting deliveries and stock organisation
• Upholding the quality and service standards that define the Rick Stein brand

What we’re looking for

• A warm, positive attitude and natural customer service skills
• Retail or hospitality experience
• An interest in food, drink, and quality produce
• Confidence talking to customers and recommending products
• A reliable team player who enjoys working in a busy environment
• Pride in presentation and attention to detail

 Stein’s Deli is stocked ceiling-high with our homemade jams, chutneys, relishes, spice mixes and oils, all made to Rick’s recipes. There are freshly baked goods including pasties, breads & pastries, all handmade and produced by us in Padstow.
