STEREO features an extensive drinks menu, American inspired culinary bar classics, and an eclectic and dynamic music programme. The bar offering sees local products from Partizan Brewery and Thames Distillers (including a STEREO house vodka & gin). The music ties it all together, with a rotating series of resident DJs and curated one-off performances.

Based in: Covent Garden, London

Role Overview:

Responsible for welcoming guests, managing queues, and ensuring a safe and organised entrance to the venue. This role combines hospitality and security awareness, requiring strong communication skills and the ability to maintain a positive guest experience while supporting venue policies and safety procedures.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Guest Welcome and Check-In

  • Welcome guests warmly and professionally as they arrive at the venue.
  • Check guests in using the Zenchef and Dice systems.
  • Accurately record guest information and manage entry lists.
  • Organise and manage guest queues efficiently and safely.
  • Communicate wait times clearly and maintain a positive queue experience.
  • Assist guests with questions or concerns while they are waiting.

Safety and Compliance

  • Monitor guest behaviour within the queue to prevent disturbances or issues.
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of guests waiting outside the venue.
  • Follow all relevant licensing regulations and venue policies.

Communication and Team Support

  • Wear a radio and maintain communication with the managers
  • Provide updates on queue status
  • Support the security team in maintaining order and addressing concerns when needed.

  • Alertness & Calmness: Ability to remain calm and attentive in fast-paced and potentially challenging situations.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and non-verbal.
  • Security & Hospitality Focus: Ability to balance security responsibilities with a friendly and welcoming approach to guests.
  • Social, engaging and motivated.
