ABOUT YOU

We are looking for a passionate and guests focused Barista to join our incredible Straits Kitchen & Bar team at Pan Pacific London. 

You show confidence, empathy and professionalism when dealing with guests and associates alike. You are calm under pressure and you desire to deliver the best experience for our guests. If you are dedicated to providing exceptional care while demonstrating great pride and attention to detail in your work and you put people at the heart of every decision you make, then we would love to hear from you.

 

JOB SUMMARY

Working as the Barista, your main role is courteously greeting, preparing menu items and serving guests to tables or the counter, ensuring Pan Pacific standards of service. To maintain the cleanliness of the working area and the seating room at all times and ensure that all guests are well looked after and assisted during their stay.  Your tasks as a Barista will include but not be limited to:

 

·         Providing intuitive service, with absolute understanding of our guests needs to create exceptional service experiences that result in lasting memories

·         Multitask effectively by not compromising quality of service and beverage preparation

·         Ability to suggestively sell food items, beverages and wines

·         Ability to prepare any cold – hot beverages following Pan Pacific Standards

·         Maintain cleanliness, immaculate presentation and organization in the pastry shop while preparing guests ‘orders

·         Be familiar with all the operation services/features and local attractions/activities to respond accurately to any guest inquiry

·         Monitor and handle guest complaints by following the instant pacification procedures and ensuring guest satisfaction

·         Assist restaurant staff with their job functions to ensure optimum service to guests; when requested
