The role…
We are looking for people that wish to broaden their hospitality experience and skills by taking on a learning and development placement, tailored to your current education schedule or post-graduate career aspirations. During your time with us you will fully participate in the day-to-day operations at our five-star standard. Previous placements have been either 6 or 12 months with some departmental rotations being available however, as mentioned the rotation can be tailored to the successful applicant. An example of a previous rotation is mentioned below:
Food & beverage service rotation example:
RenMor (breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea, dinner) or The Deck (bar service, casual dining service, poolside service).
Front of House rotation example:
To ensure all our guests receive a true ‘Headland’ welcome and are treated individually with the utmost care and attention.
Housekeeping and/or Maintenance rotation example:
To learn about the absolute attention to detail required when preparing guest bedrooms/cottages, alongside the front of house areas in the hotel and spa.
Kitchen rotation example:
Putting your culinary skills to the test in a variety of different services, across our three kitchens.
In all rotations you will..
Salary and Contract..
Ideally a 12-month student placement working 40 hours per week, five days out of seven including evenings, weekends and bank holidays. We would like the successful candidates to start between July-September 2026.
In line with UK Immigration and Employment Law, only applicants eligible to live and work in the UK need apply. Proof of ID will be required in the form of a Passport, National Identity Card or Birth Certificate.
