Description
As part of the Subway® Team, you as a Shift Manager will focus on six main things:
- Providing an excellent guest experience and confirm all team members do the same.
- Ensuring that great food is prepared & served
- Keeping our restaurants functional, clean and beautiful, and ensuring team members complete all tasks assigned
- Controlling inventory
- Coaching, Training, Scheduling and supervising staff
- Promoting Team work.
In addition to the role of a typical Sandwich Artist®, key parts of your day to day will consist of:
- Cascading training to Sandwich Artists™ on existing and new responsibilities
- Having the ability to communicate all ongoings with members of the Management team.
- Practicing inventory control standards and ensuring team members do the same.
- Ensuring equipment is in proper working order during shift
- Completing paperwork as needed

PREREQUISITES
Education: High school diploma or equivalent
Experience: A minimum of 2 year of experience in a restaurant or supervisory environment.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Communication and organizational skills
Physical: Ability to work any area of the restaurant as needed and to operate computerized Point of Sale system/cash register. This position requires bending, standing and walking the entire workday. Must have the ability to lift 15 pounds frequently and up to 35 pounds occasionally.
