Overview:
We’re looking for an experienced restaurant leader with a proven track record in running successful operations to join our team as an Area Support Manager. This role is ideal for someone who has led a restaurant location and is ready to take on a broader, hands-on leadership position. You’ll work closely with our District Leadership to support and coach multiple locations, help train and develop teams, and ensure that each store meets operational and service standards. This is a hands-on role — you’ll spend most of your time in stores, working side-by-side with managers and team members to improve performance.
Travel Area:
This position will primarily support locations in Hebron, Thornville, and Hanover. Candidates must be comfortable traveling between these stores as part of their regular workweek.
Key Responsibilities:
Support multiple Subway restaurant locations within a defined area.
Assist store managers with training, onboarding, and performance coaching.
Fill in for store managers during vacations, leaves, or vacancies, with the potential to take on a store’s leadership role if needed.
Ensure compliance with company policies, operational standards, and food safety guidelines.
Help implement new promotions, procedures, and operational improvements.
Provide leadership during peak hours and step in to run shifts when needed.
Serve as a communication link between store teams and district leadership.
Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years of restaurant management experience (QSR or fast casual preferred).
Proven ability to train, coach, and develop team members.
Strong operational knowledge, including scheduling, inventory, and cash handling.
Open availability (days, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed).
Reliable transportation required.
