Description
We are looking for a strong, motivated, hands-on Restaurant Manager who is a true go-getter — someone who takes initiative, goes above and beyond, and looks for solutions before giving up. This position is for a leader who takes ownership of the restaurant, supports the team, serves guests with pride, and helps create a store that is clean, organized, profitable, and well-run every day.

In addition to the role of a Manager, key parts of your day to day will consist of:
• Leading shifts and helping wherever needed
• Recruiting and rewarding outstanding Team Members
• Training Team Members on guest service, food quality, cleanliness and speed
• Ensuring safety and security protocols are followed, including local and national health and food safety codes
• Maintaining business records and analyzing them to help increase sales
• Controlling labor, food cost, waste, inventory and cash
• Holding Team Members accountable to company standards, policies and procedures
• Identifying ways to improve store performance instead of waiting to be told
• Identifying and contacting prospective Guests to promote sales
• Supporting local and national marketing initiatives, ensuring the restaurant is ready on every level for the beginning of a new marketing window
• Planning special events, promotions and local sales-building opportunities
• Communicating clearly with ownership, supervisors, Team Members and Guests
• Following through on tasks without needing constant reminders

PREREQUISITES
Education: High school diploma or equivalent, college degree preferred
Experience: A minimum of 2 years in a restaurant environment preferred, experience in supervising and training staff strongly preferred.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Must be an excellent communicator with the ability to deal with all levels of team members. Computer knowledge is essential.
Physical: Ability to work any area of the restaurant as needed and to operate computerized Point of Sale system/cash register. This position requires bending, standing and walking the entire workday. Must have the ability to lift 10 pounds frequently and up to 30 pounds occasionally.
