Assistant Manager

As part of the Subway Team, you as an Assistant Manager will focus on seven main things:  
  • Providing an excellent Guest experience  
  • Ensuring that great food is prepared & served  
  • Keeping our restaurants functional, clean and beautiful  
  • Controlling inventory  
  • Scheduling and supervising staff  
  • Maintaining standards of restaurant safety and security  
  • Being a team player 

In addition to the role of a Assistant Manager, key parts of your day to day will consist of:  
  • Managing a staff of 4-12 including assigning and evaluating work 
  • Assisting in the planning of special events and promotions in restaurant, coordinating any training needed to make events successful 
  • Assisting with product ordering and inventory as needed 

As a Subway Team Member, you’ll have access to: 

  • Hands on career experience in a restaurant business 

PREREQUISITES 
Education: High school diploma or equivalent 
Experience: Experience in a restaurant operation, preferably with supervisory experience. 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS 
Must be an excellent communicator with the ability to deal with all levels of team members. Computer knowledge is desirable.

Physical: Ability to work any area of the restaurant as needed and to operate computerized Point of Sale system/cash register. This position requires bending, standing and walking the entire workday Must have the ability to lift 10 pounds frequently and up to 30 pounds occasionally.
