Restaurant Supervisor - New Opening, SUMI Marylebone
SUMI is entering an exciting new chapter with the opening of our second restaurant in the heart of Marylebone in November 2026. Created by renowned sushi master Endo Kazutoshi and part of Creative Restaurant Group, SUMI has earned a reputation for delivering exceptional Japanese cuisine inspired by authentic traditions, expert craftsmanship and genuine hospitality.
Following the success of our Notting Hill neighbourhood restaurant, SUMI Marylebone will be a gem in one of London's most exciting dining destinations showcasing the finest seasonal ingredients, the best sushi preparation and warm, welcoming service. We're looking for talented individuals to join our founding team from day one, help us bring this exceptional restaurant to life, and grow with us as we establish a new benchmark for Japanese dining in London.
The Role
As our Restaurant Supervisor, you will support the management team in the day-to-day running of the restaurant. Leading from the floor, you will guide the team, anticipate guests' needs and make sure every service runs smoothly.
You will also support training, stock control, ordering, opening and closing procedures, while ensuring our high standards are maintained throughout the restaurant.
What You'll Be Doing
What We're Looking For
We are looking for an experienced hospitality professional who enjoys leading from the floor and bringing out the best in others.
You will need:
Salary: Up to £17.01 including service charge, plus benefits
Why Join Us?
At Creative Restaurant Group, we want people to build careers, not simply fill roles. You will strengthen your leadership and operational skills while gaining genuine opportunities to progress into Assistant Restaurant Manager, Assistant General Manager and wider leadership positions across the group.
Bring your leadership, energy and ambition to SUMI Marylebone, and help us create an outstanding restaurant experience from day one.
Note: Applicants must have the legal right to work in the UK without corporate sponsorship.
