Supernova is growing, with two locations opening this year and we’re looking for an Area Manager to help lead the next phase.

POSITION SUMMARY

This is a hands-on, store-based role — not an office job. You’ll be on the floor daily, supporting teams, driving performance, and ensuring each location delivers to brand standards.

You’ll work closely with the Operations Director and collaborate with teams across HR, training, and marketing to support ongoing growth and success.

This role is ideal for an experienced General Manager in QSR or casual dining looking to step into their first area role — or a Junior Ops professional ready to level up in a fast-moving, people-first environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Operations & Performance
  • Ensure consistent execution and high standards across all sites
  • Monitor and manage labour, GP, and stock to drive efficiency
  • Oversee compliance across food safety, health & safety, and hygiene
Support store managers in achieving strong service and commercial results
People & Leadership
  • Coach, develop, and challenge store managers and their teams
  • Lead recruitment and onboarding where needed
  • Build a positive, high-performing culture grounded in accountability and teamwork
  • Act as a role model and daily presence across sites
Tech & Reporting
  • Use tools like MarketManAlert65, and internal dashboards to track performance
  • Review KPIs and drive operational improvements
  • Report insights clearly and proactively to senior management
Guest Experience & Brand Standards
  • Ensure every location delivers an exceptional guest experience
  • Uphold brand standards in service, quality, and presentation
  • Manage escalated issues quickly and professionally

KEY REQUIREMENTS

  • 1–3+ years in a multi-site or junior ops role, or 5+ years as a GM in a fast-paced QSR or casual dining environment

  • Strong commercial awareness and confident managing labour, GP, and cost controls

  • Proficient in hospitality systems such as MarketMan, Alert65, and scheduling platforms

  • Excellent communicator, coach, and team leader

  • A hands-on, energetic operator who leads by example

  • Flexible, solution-oriented, and excited to grow with a scaling brand
