Financial Reporting Manager


Description
Shepherd Neame are looking for a Financial Reporting Manager to join our Finance team and lead the financial planning, forecasting and reporting across the business.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Preparation of statutory financial statements for the interim and annual accounts under International Financial Reporting Standards
  • Preparation of quarterly financial statements for the purposes of covenant reporting
  • Preparation of supporting papers for submission to the Audit Committee to support the interim and annual accounts
  • Manage and champion the development of a team of two
  • Assist with corporation tax compliance
  • Responsibility for cash flow and working capital forecasting
  • Responsibility for fixed asset reporting
  • Contribution to monthly board reports
  • Perform internal reviews of quarterly balance sheet reconciliations
  • Coordination of year-end audit process


Skills & Experience

  • ACA or ACCA qualified or equivalent qualification
  • Experience managing the preparation of consolidated statutory accounts under IFRS essential
  • Experience of Retail and/or Manufacturing industries is desirable but not essential
  • Knowledge of SAP would be beneficial
  • Advanced Microsoft Office Skills, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively build relationships with stakeholders
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Flexible and able to respond to short deadlines
