Financial Reporting Manager
Description
Shepherd Neame are looking for a
Financial Reporting Manager to join our Finance team and lead
the financial planning, forecasting and reporting across the business.

- The opportunity to develop & move within the Support Office, Brewery & our pubs
- Preparation of statutory financial statements for the interim and annual accounts under International Financial Reporting Standards
- Preparation of quarterly financial statements for the purposes of covenant reporting
- Preparation of supporting papers for submission to the Audit Committee to support the interim and annual accounts
- Manage and champion the development of a team of two
- Assist with corporation tax compliance
- Responsibility for cash flow and working capital forecasting
- Responsibility for fixed asset reporting
- Contribution to monthly board reports
- Perform internal reviews of quarterly balance sheet reconciliations
- Coordination of year-end audit process
Skills & Experience
- ACA
or ACCA qualified or equivalent qualification
- Experience
managing the preparation of consolidated statutory accounts under IFRS
essential
- Experience
of Retail and/or Manufacturing industries is desirable but not essential
- Knowledge
of SAP would be beneficial
- Advanced
Microsoft Office Skills, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
- Strong
verbal and written communication skills with the ability to
effectively build relationships with stakeholders
- Excellent
analytical and problem-solving skills
- Flexible and able to respond to short deadlines
