At Fuller’s, our Finance team plays a key role in supporting the business and helping us make informed, commercial decisions. We are looking for a Commercial Finance Business Partner to join our team and work closely with our Marketing, Buying and Operations teams.

This is a commercially focused role where you will go beyond the numbers, using your financial expertise to understand performance, identify opportunities and provide insight that helps shape business decisions.

What you’ll be doing

  • Partner with our Marketing, Buying and Operations teams, providing financial and commercial insight to support decision making.
  • Analyse revenue and margin performance across our food and drink business, identifying trends, risks and opportunities across our managed and tenanted divisions.
  • Support decision making around range performance, pricing, commercial contracts and supplier tenders, providing constructive financial challenge and recommendations.
  • Build and maintain scenario-based models to assess the potential revenue and profit impact of new ideas and initiatives.
  • Lead pre and post analysis of marketing initiatives, helping us understand their profitability and influence future activity.
  • Support our Operations teams in understanding gross margin and the actions they can take to improve performance.
  • Contribute to the annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting process, identifying key risks, opportunities and trends.
  • Own and present weekly and periodic performance reporting and KPIs, ensuring the story behind the numbers is clear.
  • Continue to develop our reporting and use tools such as Power BI to provide better insight and support decision making.

What we’re looking for

  • A qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) with experience in a commercial finance or business partnering role.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to turn financial information into clear commercial insight and recommendations.
  • A confident communicator who can build strong relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels, including senior leaders.
  • Someone who is commercially minded, proactive and comfortable constructively challenging the business.
  • A collaborative team player who can take ownership of workstreams while also working independently.
  • Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills, with previous experience using and developing Power BI.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tell the story behind the numbers.

What’s in it for you?

We believe in looking after our people, which is why we offer a great range of benefits alongside your salary, including:

  • 25 days holiday, plus bank holidays
  • A generous pension scheme
  • Discounts across Fuller’s pubs and hotels
  • Employee assistance programme
  • Access to a range of discounts and savings through our employee benefits platform
  • Opportunities to develop and grow your career with Fuller’s
  • A supportive and collaborative working environment

You will be joining a team where your ideas and expertise can make a real difference. This is an opportunity to work closely with senior stakeholders across the business, influence commercial decisions and play an important role in driving Fuller’s performance.
