SUMMARY OF POSITION 

We’re looking for a fabulous marketing executive to work within our marketing team who is passionate about sales and event marketing across the full marketing mix. 

You will have a hands-on role supporting the growth of online and corporate sales and will work on creative development, production and delivery of sales collateral, events and marketing campaigns. 

With insight and access to many areas of marketing, you will have the opportunity to develop your career and experience in different ways as we evolve our brand. This will include working on brand engagement, acquisition, CRM, loyalty and event marketing as well as having the opportunity to advance your skills in data led marketing, customer and market insight, marketing effectiveness, content optimisation and media planning. 

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Your role will include but may not be limited to the following responsibilities;

  • Work with the marketing team to deliver campaigns and marketing content that delights our audiences, bringing our brand to life across all touchpoints. End to end, from creative briefing, planning and conception to production, delivery, launch, optimisation and reporting.
  • Craft compelling and engaging content across various marketing channels, including emails, website, editorial pieces, advertisements, and more, to effectively communicate brand messaging and engage target audiences.
  • Produce analytics reports and campaign analysis to show impact and success.
  • Oversee the delivery of marketing assets across Clays’ channels from POS to sales and operational assets ensuring consistent brand messaging across all marketing efforts.
  • Champion the brand internally and externally including time in the venues to understand the customer experience and operations.
  • Support with public relations activities specifically press releases and media enquiries.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to inform marketing strategies.
  • Work with the marketing and internal teams to foster strategic collaborations, including external agencies, partners, and ambassadors to enhance marketing initiatives, and cultivate lasting relationships to drive growth.
  • Provide general support to the marketing team by assisting with ad-hoc tasks and projects as required. 
  • Successfully complete all modules in the Career Tree Academy, in relation to your role.
  • Encourage and support the company culture, to provide a supportive happy, productive work environment to all.

SKILLS, DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS & ATTRIBUTES

  • Minimum of three years' experience in a marketing role within the hospitality sector or related fields such as entertainment or events management.
  • Experience of working in a high-performing and innovative marketing team with campaigns that were delivered on time and within budget.
  • Experience collaborating with colleagues across departments to collectively achieve internal targets and objectives.
  • Comfortable and confident communicating with customers, internal teams, creative and external partners and agencies. 
  • Good time management skills, able to plan, focus and organise your time and priorities effectively.
  • A reliable multi tasker you will also need to be flexible and adaptable.
  • Experience using CRM systems, online analytical tools such as, Salesforce, and GA4. Analytics alongside expertise in Canva and Adobe.
  • Always looking for opportunities to improve your knowledge and abilities.
  • Passionate about hospitality and creating amazing experiences.
  • A keen eye for detail with excellent editing, written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to build lasting relationships with colleagues and clients.
  • Honest with strong moral principles.
  • Take initiative, can solve problems calmly and work well under pressure. 

Preferred

  • Experience using project and task management software such as Microsoft project, monday.com, Jira, Basecamp, Asana or similar.
  • We would love you to have strong copywriting skills and a good eye for details and creativity. 
  • Background or a passion for entertainment, technology or hospitality.
  • Affinity with digital products and interactive entertainment.

This role is offered with a competitive base salary range of £32,000 - £35000 plus the opportunity to earn an on target performance related bonus. In addition, you will be part of a growing brand, business and an exciting adventure.
