DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Your role will include but may not be limited to the following responsibilities;

  • Develop and implement social media strategy aligned with Clays brand objectives, target audience, and industry trends.
  • Creating, managing, and publishing high-quality, engaging content tailored for individual social media platforms (TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn, etc.).
  • Tracking key social metrics, generating comprehensive reports, and providing insights to improve performance and engagement.
  • Managing and optimising social media budgets to maximise impact.
  • Proactively encouraging and curating user-generated content (UGC) to build brand authenticity and drive customer acquisition.
  • Oversee ambassador and influencer partnerships, ensuring alignment with brand values and goals. Support ambassadors in creating compelling content and provide creative direction
  • Work closely with our paid media partner to contribute to the paid media strategy and organise content for paid social campaigns.
  • Identify, establish relationships, and manage collaborations with relevant influencers, leveraging their reach and credibility to promote the brand, increase engagement and drive acquisition.
  • Leading the delivery of impactful content for major milestones, including new venue openings, seasonal campaigns, and key events.
  • Manage our social community. Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and inquiries across social media platforms promptly and professionally, ensuring a positive and engaging online presence.
  • Creating and maintaining a content calendar that strategically aligns with Clays' marketing initiatives, promotions, PR, and industry trends.
  • Providing data-driven insights to inform future campaigns, identifying trends, and adapting strategies to improve performance.
  • Collaborating closely with the Head of Marketing and Marketing Manager to contribute to Clays' wider marketing strategy.
  • Coordinating with the Marketing Executive, Junior Designer, and cross-functional teams to deliver integrated campaigns effectively.
  • Staying on top of the latest social media trends, platform updates, and emerging best practices to ensure Clays remains innovative and engaging online.

SKILLS, DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS & ATTRIBUTES

  • At least 3 years experience in social media management and content creation, preferably in the hospitality or entertainment industry.
  • Expert knowledge of Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and LinkedIn, with a strong understanding of platform-specific content trends.
  • Proven experience in developing viral content, spotting emerging trends, and seizing opportunities for creative storytelling.
  • Strong knowledge of paid media advertising and campaign management, with experience in performance analysis and budget optimisation.
  • Experience leveraging UGC to build community and enhance brand presence.
  • Proven success in developing influencer partnerships, from outreach and relationship-building to content collaboration.
  • Exceptional creative skills with the ability to craft compelling visuals, videos, and written content tailored to different platforms.
  • Photography and videography skills, including editing and post-production. Knowledge of graphic design software such as Adobe Photoshop or Canva is advantageous.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to create impactful, engaging copy that inspires action.
  • Proficiency in using social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer, Sprout, Skedsocial) and analytics platforms (e.g., Facebook Insights, TikTok Analytics, GA4).
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and maintain exceptional attention to detail.
  • A proactive, creative mindset with a natural ability to connect and build relationships with colleagues, guests, and partners.
  • Honest, with strong moral principles and a positive, can-do attitude.
