(Site-Based, Bilingual Project Support)

WHAT WE ARE HUNGRY FOR

The Procurement Manager will support procurement and commercial activities for Project Dough, Paris Baguette’s Texas manufacturing facility construction project. This is a site-based role, working primarily at the Burleson, Texas construction site, and operating in close, day-to-day coordination with the Site Manager.

A critical aspect of this role is to support the Site Manager through bilingual communication, requiring full professional fluency in both Korean and English. The position involves real-time interpretation, coordination, and execution support, and the Procurement Manager is expected to work closely alongside the Site Manager on a near-constant basis, including domestic and international travel as required.

KNOWLEDGE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Procurement & Commercial Support

  • Support procurement activities for manufacturing equipment, construction-related packages, and site services
  • Assist with RFQs, bid evaluations, supplier communications, and commercial negotiations
  • Track procurement status of long-lead and critical equipment to support site execution schedules
  • Coordinate with vendors on delivery timing, documentation, and site readiness

Site Manager Support & Bilingual Coordination

  • Work side-by-side with the Site Manager on a daily basis to support on-site project execution
  • Provide bilingual (Korean–English) interpretation and communication support during:
    • Site meetings
    • Vendor discussions
    • Calls with headquarters and local/overseas suppliers
  • Assist with follow-ups, action tracking, meeting preparation, and issue resolution working together with the Site Manager
  • Bridge communication between Korean-speaking stakeholders (HQ, vendors) and English-speaking partners (design-builder, local contractors, consultants) to ensure alignment and execution speed

Vendor & Stakeholder Management

  • Serve as a key coordination point between the site team, vendors, and internal stakeholders
  • Support FAT (Factory Acceptance Test), SAT (Site Acceptance Test), installation, and commissioning activities from a site and procurement coordination perspective
  • Assist in resolving commercial, logistical, and communication issues impacting site progress

Cost Tracking & Documentation

  • Support tracking of procurement commitments, invoices, and payment milestones
  • Maintain organized records of contracts, purchase orders, and vendor correspondence
  • Assist with cost-related reporting and internal approval processes

Travel & On-Site Engagement

  • Travel with or in support of the Site Manager for:
    • Vendor meetings
    • Key project coordination sessions
  • Maintain a strong on-site presence during critical construction, installation, and commissioning phases
  • Primary work location: Burleson, Texas construction site
  • Extended on-site presence required during key construction phases
  • Domestic and international travel required, often in coordination with the Site Manager
  • Dynamic, execution-focused project environment
  • Other duties may be assigned

Preferred:

  • Exposure to manufacturing equipment procurement or food production facilities
  • Familiarity with design-build project environments
  • Understanding of commercial and contractual terms
  • Experience working in multinational, cross-cultural project teams
  • Experience with similar manufacturing facility construction projects
  • Strong background, experience, or understanding of the food & beverage (F&B) industry

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related field
  • At least 3+ years of experience in procurement, project support, or site-based project roles
  • Prior experience working on construction sites or manufacturing facility projects
  • Full professional fluency in both Korean and English (spoken and written)
  • Strong ability to provide real-time interpretation and bilingual coordination in a technical and construction environment
  • Willingness and ability to work primarily on-site and travel as required
  • Strong organizational skills, follow-through, and attention to detail
