This fall, SUSHISAMBA makes its highly anticipated Los Angeles debut, bringing its iconic blend of Japanese, Brazilian, and Peruvian culture to the heart of West Hollywood.

With locations in some of the world’s most dynamic cities—Las Vegas, London, Dubai, Singapore and now L.A.—SUSHISAMBA is known for culinary creativity, immersive design, and a high-energy atmosphere unlike any other.

We’re on the lookout for a passionate, dynamic Head Sushi Chef to join our opening team and to help deliver unforgettable hospitality in a one-of-a-kind setting.

What You’ll Do:

  • Develop and execute exceptional quality dishes, adhering to SUSHISAMA standards of excellence.
  • Create and implement seasonal menu changes in conjunction with senior chefs.
  • Maintain exceptional knowledge of all seafood products and skilfully apply culinary excellence.
  • Execute recipes in line with SUSHISAMBA standards.
  • Maintain complete knowledge of and comply with all departmental policies, procedures and standards.
  • Ensure that each station is stocked with specified tools, supplies and equipment to meet the business demands.
Direct, train and upskill members of the SUSHISAMBA team.

What We’re Looking For:

  • 5 years of experience working as a Head Sushi Chef or higher.
  • Excellent communication skills in the English language both written and verbal.
  • The ability to maintain and follow recipes, processes and standards.
  • Drive and ambition with a desire to learn and grow within the team.
  • Full ownership of your role.
  • Possession of valid Food Handler Card
Valid documentation of your right to work in the U.S
