The Social Media & Digital Content Manager is an integral part of
the marketing team, responsible for developing and executing the social media
strategy and digital content creation for the SUSHISAMBA Group across
the U.S. This role leads the creation, curation, and management of content
across all social and digital platforms, playing a key role in strengthening
brand presence, engaging audiences, and delivering impactful campaigns that
drive engagement, loyalty, and growth.
The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of social media platforms,
an instinctive creative eye, and a thoughtful approach to storytelling. They
can translate brand direction into compelling, high-performing content, support
visual art direction, and help maintain photography standards across channels.
The position requires experience in social media and digital marketing,
knowledge of design and editing tools, and strong communication skills.
Creativity, project coordination, and problem-solving abilities in a fast-paced
environment, coupled with keen attention to detail, are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
Social Media Management:
- Develop and implement a social media strategy for U.S locations that
aligns with brand goals and business objectives.
- Manage and grow brand presence across all relevant social media platforms
(Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and emerging platforms.) including daily posts,
engagement, and community management.
- Create engaging content, ensuring brand consistency and high-quality
visuals.
- Foster community engagement through active social listening, responding to
messages, and managing influencer collaborations, brand ambassadors, and
partners.
- Attend influencer activations and events as needed to support brand
alignment and content capture.
- Monitor social media trends, challenges, and opportunities to maintain
relevance and drive engagement.
Content Creation & Strategy:
- Produce compelling content for social and digital platforms, including
paid social, influencer partnerships, and brand collaborations (images, videos,
stories, etc.).
- Assist with photo and video shoots by developing briefs and collaborating
with photographers, videographers, and content creators to deliver high-impact
digital campaigns.
- Attend and support brand events, providing strategic guidance on real-time
content capture and post-event amplification.
- Ensure all content is on-brand and consistent in style, tone, and
messaging across channels.
- Plan and maintain content calendars to ensure timely delivery of campaigns
and posts.
- Maintain an organized digital asset library for all U.S. locations.
- Track and analyze digital performance metrics to inform strategy and drive
ROI.
Campaign Management:
- Develop and execute social media campaigns, including brand activations
and special events.
- Collaborate with marketing and digital teams to integrate content across
paid advertising, email marketing, website, and other channels.
- Support targeted content strategies for paid campaigns and promotional
initiatives.
Performance & Analytics:
- Track and analyze key metrics for social and digital campaigns, including
engagement, reach, impressions, audience growth and ROI.
- Produce monthly reports to assess content and campaign effectiveness and
identify opportunities for optimization.
- Use data insights to refine strategy, optimize content mix and cadence,
and improve audience targeting.
- Collaborate with digital teams to optimize paid social campaigns.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of professional experience in social media, content creation or
digital marketing, preferably within hospitality, lifestyle, food &
beverage, or luxury brands.
- Strong understanding of Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and emerging
platforms, including trends, best practices, and analytics, with proven
experience creating content that is both strategic and performance driven.
- Excellent photography skills and strong visual storytelling abilities.
- Proficiency with content creation and editing tools such as Adobe Creative
Suite, Canva, Photoshop, CapCut, or similar.
- Strong copywriting skills, with the ability to craft engaging captions and
content across platforms.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple
priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Passion for food, hospitality, and LA culture, with an understanding of
how to connect with local and global audiences through digital content.
- High-energy, positive, professional and confident communicator with a
collaborative, proactive mindset.
