The Secret Hospitality Group is looking for a detail-focused, organised Accounts Assistant to support the finance function across our multi-site hospitality business.
This is a part-time role based at our central office, supporting several busy venues. The position is ideal for someone AAT qualified (or studying) who enjoys structure, accuracy and being part of a fast-moving environment.
You will play a key part in maintaining accurate financial records and supporting payroll, supplier management and reporting across the group.
Key ResponsibilitiesPurchase Ledger & Suppliers
Invoice processing
Reconciling supplier statements to month-end payables
Processing orders from managers within the group
Monitoring price difference files and updating stock sheets for price changes
Banking & Reconciliation
Bank reconciliation of payments
Posting daily sales into Xero from Square and reconciling income
Monthly reconciliation of control accounts within the balance sheet
Payroll & Service Charge
Processing time cards into Xero payroll
Running tips/service charge reports for payslips
Pension uploads
Setting up new starters within payroll systems
Reporting & Communication
Running ad hoc tips reports for managers
Producing and distributing sales reports to venue managers and senior team
Managing finance-related mailbox queries
AAT qualified or currently studying (Level 3 or above preferred)
Experience in a similar accounts assistant role
Confident using Xero (essential)
Strong Excel skills
Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
Comfortable working across multiple sites and deadlines
Proactive and confident communicating with managers
Hospitality experience would be beneficial but is not essential.
