In this role, Swig will look to you to oversee the implementation of new stores and to ensure inventory for all items. This role ensures that our supply chain systems that hold our inventory levels, products, order guides and supply chain amounts are correct. The role oversees the compliance of agreements and standards set forth by Swig. If you’re passionate about being a part of a team, we’d love to hear from you!
HOW YOU’LL MAKE AN IMPACT:
- Inventory Management
- Ensure all parties have adequate inventory of all items.
- Work with distributors to ensure proper phase in/out of inventory.
- Collaborate with middle mile partners on middle mile execution and inventory levels.
- New Store Implementation
- Ensure all new stores are set up for execution.
- Work with Final Mile partners to ensure proper inventory levels for new store openings.
- Collaborate with development to ensure new distribution centers are opened successfully for the execution of new stores.
- Forecasting
- Work with procurement, middle mile and final mile partners to ensure forecasting is completed successfully.
- Review with forecast against actual usage to accurately predict future trends
- Work with distributors to ensure new stores are effectively covered from a new store expansion.
- Intermediate/Advanced knowledge of Excel
- Expert knowledge of Food Service Distribution
- Spirit of working positively with suppliers to help the development of Swig.
- Financial understanding of the restaurant industry
Understanding of Supplier and Logistics Networks in Foodservice logistics and how they impact each other.
