The Director of Field Employee Experience leads Employee Experience strategy and support for Swig’s store organization and serves as a strategic partner to Operations leadership. This role leads the Employee Experience team dedicated to supporting stores. The Director is responsible for evaluating and improving the processes, systems, and programs that support our Daymakers, while driving meaningful improvements that evolve alongside Swig’s growth.
How You'll Make an Impact:
Lead Employee Experience strategy and support for Swig’s store organization, partnering closely with Operations leadership to address people-related needs and business priorities.
Serve as a strategic partner to Operations leaders on employee relations, performance management, talent, engagement, compliance, and other people matters.
Provide oversight and guidance on complex or escalated employee relations matters, workplace investigations, workers’ compensation, FMLA, leaves of absence, accommodations, risk management, and other employment-related matters.
Develop, implement, and roll out Employee Experience policies and programs, ensuring they are compliant, practical, clearly communicated, and effectively adopted across the store organization.
Partner with Operations and Employee Experience leaders to identify workforce trends, challenges, and opportunities and develop solutions that support Daymaker retention, engagement, and performance.
Evaluate and improve Employee Experience processes, systems, and programs, challenging the status quo and leading changes that create a simpler, more consistent, and effective experience for Daymakers and Operations.
Develop and support talent and leadership initiatives, including performance management, talent development, succession planning, leadership development, and Daymaker engagement.
Monitor people data and trends to identify workforce challenges, risks, and opportunities and translate insights into actionable recommendations.
Partner with Recruiting, Operations, and other cross-functional leaders to support workforce needs, new store growth, organizational changes, and other business initiatives.
What You'll Bring to the Role:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
7+ years of HR or Employee Experience experience
Previous leadership experience managing and developing HR professionals.
Experience supporting a multi-location, multi-unit, retail, restaurant, QSR, or similarly operational environment strongly preferred.
Experience partnering with senior Operations leaders and providing strategic HR guidance.
Strong knowledge of employee relations, performance management, talent management, and employment practices.
