Reports to: Global Group Marketing Director

The Role:  Working within the marketing team to support and deliver exceptional marketing and communication for the portfolio of restaurants within The Wolseley Hospitality Group. Responsible for developing, implementing, and managing our marketing strategy across various platforms. The ideal candidate will have a passion for storytelling, exceptional organisational skills and the ability to engage with our audience in a way that strengthens our brands presence and drives growth.

What the role will involve: 

  • Creation of the marketing plans by brand 
  • Oversee the implementation of all aspects of the marketing plan 
  • Detailed knowledge of all the business commercial performance and support in reactive requirements where necessary 
  • Understand any key challenges of the day to day to support the team and business stakeholders in key areas. 
  • Have a detailed understanding of the financial goals for the restaurant whilst ensuring all budgets/costs are managed 
  • Responsible for the protection of the brand 
  • Key liaison between operations and marketing 
  • Driving revenue through campaigns to achieve KPIs and revenue targets 
  • Post campaign reporting and summary with key learnings and sharing with the business stakeholders 
  • Working with the creative team to produce innovated campaign ideas that can be delivered through a multi-channel distribution 
  • Manage the relationship with the wider business communicating the brands activity and plans 
  • Partnership marketing negotiation and planning 
  • On-going idea generation on how to create and deliver innovative brand activity to increase the profile and awareness of the brands 
  • Weekly team cross departmental meetings to ensure all departments are aligned to the key actions and timelines 
  • Continually monitor the market, consumer trends and competitor activity and ensure any reactive activity is implemented where and when necessary and the overarching marketing strategy is adapted as required 
  • Work with Senior Content Manager on asset needs for marketing channels, help support with photo and video shoots where needed • Write creative briefs for in-house or external designers  


Essential Skills & Aptitudes: 

  • A team player with a passion for hospitality. The teamwork in a very integrated way across the marketing strategy.  
  • Excellent written and oral communication, good copy writing is essential. 
  • Excellent knowledge of word, power point and excel. Previous experience with Opentable, SevenRooms, and a CRM system. 
  • Good time management and organisational skills with exceptional attention to detail. 
  • Creative flair and good visual eye.  
  • Demonstrates the company core values, builds great relationships with internal and external guests and partners. 
  • A keen desire to develop and grow.
