Description

We are seeking an experienced Quality & Training Manager to play a pivotal role in the pre-opening and launch of Sofitel Dublin Airport Hotel—a luxury flagship property managed by the award-winning Arora Group in partnership with Accor’s Sofitel brand.

Directly connected to Terminal 2, this landmark hotel will redefine the guest experience at one of Europe’s busiest international gateways and will feature:

  • A spectacular rooftop bar with panoramic views across Dublin and the airport

A bit about what you will do...

To lead the hotel quality and learning agenda, ensuring colleagues deliver consistent luxury service in line with Sofitel, Accor and Arora Group standards. The role turns guest feedback, audits and operational observations into practical training and measurable improvement plans.

  • Lead the hotel's Learning & Development and Quality strategy, ensuring exceptional guest experiences and brand standards.
  • Design and deliver training programmes, onboarding, leadership development and compliance learning across all hotel departments.
  • Support the successful pre-opening of the hotel through training delivery, operational readiness activities and departmental preparation.
  • Drive quality assurance through regular audits, service reviews and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Analyse guest feedback and operational performance, implementing training and coaching solutions to enhance service excellence.
  • Partner with department leaders to develop talent, improve performance and support succession planning.
  • Manage training records, compliance reporting, budgets and relationships with internal and external learning partners.

More about you...

  • Previous experience in hotel learning and development, quality assurance or a combined training and quality role, preferably in an upscale or luxury environment.
  • Strong knowledge of training needs analysis, instructional design, facilitation, coaching, evaluation and adultlearning principles.
  • Experience conducting audits, interpreting guest feedback and performance data and managing corrective action plans across operational departments.
  • Excellent presentation, facilitation, written communication, influencing and relationship-management skills.
  • Highly organised and detail focused, with the ability to manage multiple programmes, deadlines and stakeholders independently.
  • Competence using learning management systems, audit and guest-feedback platforms and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Commercial awareness, sound judgement and a practical, collaborative approach to improving standards and colleague capability.
  • A recognised training, learning and development, quality or hospitality qualification is desirable.
