Staff nurse duties and responsibilities

Staff nurses are nurses and therefore are registered as such. They can work in different facilities such as a company, a care home or a hospital. The following are some of their duties and responsibilities:

• Delivering care and treatments to patients
• Constantly learning and staying on top of current practices
• Keeping records and documentation of patient injuries
• Elaborating plans that aim at maintaining a patient’s health
• Identifying any potential hazards and addressing them
