This is a great opportunity to take on the next steps in your hospitality career and lead a Food & Beverage Team at Thatchers Hotel, Guildford. We're looking for a Restaurant & Bar Team Leader to lead, motivate and support the team.. Thatchers Hotel is a charming Tudor style property set in the heart of the glorious Surrey countryside. With 87 newly refurbished rooms, with multiple event and conference spaces, Thatchers is a stunning property to work within.
To be a successful Restaurant & Bar Team Leader you will need;
- Proven experience working within a Food & Beverage team; previous leadership experience is advantageous
- A passion for driving and improving standards across all food and beverage areas, with strong attention to detail
- Commitment to delivering best‑in‑class guest experiences with warmth and personality
- Ability to lead, inspire, train, and motivate a team while maintaining high standards in a fair and consistent manner
- Lead service from the front, including taking guest orders, serving food and drinks, processing payments, and delivering excellent customer service
- Ensure all site service standards are met and lead the team to do the same, creating a great guest experience
- Strong knowledge of serving coffee, alcohol, and wine in both bar and restaurant environments
- Responsibility for opening and closing shifts, including cash ups and end‑of‑day sign‑offs
