We are seeking an experienced, dynamic and detail-oriented Reservations Manager to join our team. If you have a passion for people, expertise in guest reservation systems, and a knack for coordinating elegant dining experiences, we’d love to hear from you! We are an independent, family owned and operated trio of venues. We pride ourselves on a personal, hands-on approach, creating a family environment, going above and beyond and providing exceptional service.

Within the office we are a small close-knit team who take care of the BOH administration for The Bieldside Inn, The Albyn and The Cults Hotel, this primarily involves the reservations and events but does include other admin aspects due to the size of the business. This position is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Reservations department as well as assisting the owners in managing the head office. This individual will be responsible for managing the reservations team, ensuring smooth and efficient operations of restaurant and hotel bookings, events and private bookings. We’re looking for someone who will ensure every guest interaction, dining or hotel experience and event is executed flawlessly.

Preferred requirements;

  • Proven experience in an events or reservations management role within a luxury hospitality environment
  • Proficiency with ResDiary and Little Hotelier or similar reservation systems
  • Strong people management skills with experience training and developing staff
  • Exceptional organisational and multitasking abilities, with an eye for detail
  • Confident with a personal approach
  • Excellent communication skills and a commitment to delivering superior guest experiences
  • A hands-on, roll your sleeves up and get stuck in attitude

Responsibilities include but are not limited to;

Overseeing and managing all aspects of the reservations process, using ResDiary to handle guest reservations and optimise seating arrangements

Managing the team and ensuring efficient processes are in place

Handling bookings, allergens, pre-orders and guest enquiries while maintaining high standards

Ensuring reservation systems are accurate and efficient, and monitoring hotel and restaurant systems for issues 

Developing strategies to maximise bookings and revenue 

Manage event inquiries from initial booking to post-event follow-up, tailoring each experience to exceed client expectations

Collaborating closely with front-of-house and kitchen teams to ensure seamless execution and continuously improving the customer experience

Building and maintaining strong relationships with guests, corporate clients, and community partners

Staying current on restaurant and bar trends 

Supporting the owners in the management and running of the head office
