Description

Located in the heart of Mayfair, The Arts Club is one of the city’s most established private members’ clubs, home to a community of discerning thinkers with a passion for the arts, literature and science.

From distinguished art exhibitions to fine dining, live music and an exceptional programme of events, the club remains at the heart of contemporary cultural life in London. We are currently looking for a Head of Marketing, to work alongside the Marketing Executive and oversee the full marketing mix.

 Main Responsibilities

 

·        Working closely with The Arts Club Marketing Executive to market all aspects of the club, both internally and externally

·        Responsible for creating and implementing the club’s social media strategy; this includes content creation, scheduling and copywriting across all channels, maintaining the club’s tone of voice is imperative, as well as tailoring content for a luxury audience

·        Identify new ways of utilising social media to market the club for maximum impact

·        Day to day management of the club’s website and working within the CMS to ensure all content is up-to-date

·        Work alongside our web developer to further enhance the website

·        Creation of regular email campaigns, which includes everything from procuring images and copywriting, to building and testing all campaigns

·        Oversee all aspects of branding, liaising and briefing external designers and agencies as required

·        Responsible for organising and directing all photo shoots, videography and production for socials, digital and printed marketing collateral

·        Sales promotion and direct marketing; working alongside external designers to conceptualise and produce marketing materials for distribution in the club and among members

·        Work with HODs to develop marketing strategies for the different areas of business

·        Management of marketing and communications budget

·        Research competition; market awareness; keep ahead of digital developments so we are ‘ahead of the curve’

·        Attend the weekly music meeting to provide marketing support

·        Manage relationships with external PR agencies and manage internal requests

·        Track/maintain/organise our digital library of image/audio/video/logos etc.

·        Maintain an archive of past content including mailings/booklets/audio and video recordings

·        Maintain press cuttings folders/create digital archive as required

·        Liaise with international team to ensure brand identity is consistent across both London and Dubai clubs

·        Attend key events within the club’s programme and produce social media content as required

·        Receives instructions on new tasks and assists willingly and can learn from their own and others mistakes

·        Works calmly under pressure and can manage multiple tasks efficiently to deliver to deadline

·        Has a positive attitude to changes and implements changes where necessary

·        Shows a positive approach to self-development and learning new skills

·        Prepared to work in challenging and demanding situations which may be beyond normal areas of responsibility

 

Core Competency – Practical skills

 

·        Confident in using Adobe Suite: Photoshop and InDesign

·        Fluent user of Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, MailChimp, Outlook, Word, Excel & Powerpoint

·        Excellent written and grammar skills. The ability to adopt and communicate confidently in the brand voice is essential

·        Managerial experience of at least one team member
