The Arts Club Dubai is perfectly located in the heart of the DIFC, set over four floors and totaling 65,000 square feet, in the brand-new ICD Brookfield Place development designed by Foster + Partners.

It is the first international outpost of the celebrated and historical private members’ club, established in 1863 in Mayfair, London. The Arts Club Dubai unveils an amazing opportunity for a talented artisan to join our passionate and creative team.
The Barista will be responsible for preparing high-quality coffee by delivering and keeping the highest level of member service and providing an outstanding experience for all our members, while ensuring that the Club’s standards and procedures are adhered to at all times, and the brand image is maintained. The ideal candidate will have a love for coffee, a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

WHAT WILL YOU DO

Your main duties and responsibilities are:

• Brew and serve a variety of coffee beverages (espresso, cappuccinos, lattes, etc.) while maintaining high quality and consistency and following the department Standard Operating Procedures
• Assist with tracking inventory, restocking supplies, and communicating needs to the restaurant manager
• Stay updated on the menu, seasonal offerings, and brewing techniques. Educate customers about different types of coffee, beans, and preparation methods.
• Be efficient in keeping food and beverage wastage to a minimum and ensure stock under your responsibility is secure
• Fully understand your role as communicated to you by the Senior Manager in successfully achieving all service-related food and beverage targets
• Be fully aware of all the Health and Safety at Work and Hygiene regulations
• Have a thorough knowledge of the outlet operation including the menu and wine list, and understanding the terminology’s used 
• Ensure the efficient, consistent flow of service and standards are constantly met during service periods
• Handle minor complaints in a professional and courteous manner
• Monitor the daily checklist and ensure all opening and closing duties are completed

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• The successful candidate will have the following experience and skills:
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in same or similar role in luxury hotels or fine dining restaurants
• Internationally recognized professional certification
• Excellent level of English, written and spoken
• Have strong organisational and time management skills with a high degree of flexibility
• Excellent communication and listening skills
• Demonstrate integrity in all dealings and maintain high level of confidentiality
• Ability to work long shifts and stand for the extended period of time
