The Arts Club Dubai is perfectly located in the heart of the DIFC, set over four floors and totaling 65,000 square feet, in the brand-new ICD Brookfield Place development designed by Foster + Partners.

It is the first international outpost of the celebrated and historical private members’ club, established in 1863 in Mayfair, London. The Club’s membership is a growing community of like-minded, diverse and dynamic people, all hailing from different cultures and sectors, from the region and further afield.

POSITION PURPOSE: 
 The role of the Graphic Designer will sit within the Brand, Marketing & Communications team and will report to the Director of Marketing & Communications. The Graphic Designer will primarily support the team in devising and delivering the Club’s graphic designs, including brand assets, print & digital collateral, illustrations, and merchandise. The role will encompass creative, logistic, and administrative responsibilities.

DAILY DUTIES:
  •  Support with the planning, development, and coordination of the Club’s graphic designs across brand assets (e.g. brand logos, fonts, colours, patterns, icons), print & digital collateral (e.g. templates, signs, screens, menus, flyers, brochures, stationary), illustrations, and merchandise (e.g. amenities, members’ gifts, occasions-based items)
  •  Work with the Director of Marketing & Communications and Assistant Marketing Manager to strategise graphic design initiatives and ensure proper execution of tasks
  • Coordinate the dissemination of information between the relevant Heads of Department across Marketing, Design & Architecture, Cultural Programme, and Operations, to ensure the graphic designs are in line with the respective departmental requirements 
  • Assist in research necessary to build the graphic design portfolio of the Club 
  • Support with the assessment of the Club’s graphic design needs, in line with the brand identity, target demographic, and specific occasions such as holidays and member events • Create graphic design files of the desired products to pitch to developers and suppliers 
  • Select, compile, and liaise with on-brand developers and suppliers, considering quality, cost, and production time 
  • Liaise with relevant suppliers and the Purchasing Department to coordinate the graphic design order

REQUIREMENTS AND SKILLS: 
  •  Min. 3 years of graphic design experience 
  • Strong affinity with the luxury industry required 
  • In-depth knowledge of luxury branding in the hospitality or fashion industry, or related 
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, design AI software (e.g. Midjourney, DALL-E), and animation software 
  • Knowledge of front-facing website/app curation, basic html, video editing (e.g. Premiere Pro, After Effects) is a plus  
  • Proficiency in writing copy for graphic use 
  • Profound eye for detail 
  • Multidisciplinary
