The Arts Club Dubai is perfectly located in the heart of the DIFC, set over four floors and totaling 65,000 square feet, in the brand-new ICD Brookfield Place development designed by Foster + Partners.

It is the first international outpost of the celebrated and historical private members’ club, established in 1863 in Mayfair, London. The Arts Club Dubai unveils an amazing opportunity for a talented artisan to join our passionate and creative team.
The Marketing Coordinator will be responsible for supporting the team in delivering effective marketing campaigns and activity, which will ultimately affirm the brand, drive membership demand, maintain member retention, support operations and encourage positive sales. The role will encompass creative, analytical, digital, commercial and administrative responsibilities.

The Assistant Cultural Programme Manager will support the planning, development, and execution of a highly engaging and diverse programme of events for Members, both within and outside the Club. The role encompasses creative, logistical, and administrative responsibilities, ensuring that programming initiatives align with brand values, foster member engagement, and enhance the overall membership experience.


WHAT WILL YOU DO

Your main duties and responsibilities are:

  • Support the Head of Cultural Programming in devising, planning, and delivering a dynamic programme of talks, debates, performances, workshops, and events covering art, science, politics, business, fashion, music, technology, and current affairs.
  • Assist in curating events that appeal to varied demographics while maintaining cultural integrity and brand alignment.
  • Contribute creative and original ideas for programming themes, speaker selection, member experiences, and new formats, ensuring the calendar remains relevant, inspiring, and distinctive.
  • Demonstrate leadership and initiative during event planning and onsite execution, guiding junior staff and working collaboratively with internal teams.
  • Take ownership of assigned tasks and timelines, ensuring preparation, communication, and delivery are completed with a strong sense of responsibility and attention to detail.
  • Coordinate event logistics, including scheduling, equipment, vendor liaison, and set-up requirements, ensuring smooth execution on-site and off-site.
  • Liaise with internal teams (Marketing, Private Events, Membership, F&B, Operations) to ensure seamless coordination and effective promotion of events.
  • Compile and share programming content with the Marketing team for newsletters, website, social media, and printed event booklets.
  • Actively build and maintain strong professional networks with speakers, artists, thought-leaders, cultural institutions, partners, sponsors, and members to enhance programming opportunities.
  • Engage with members during events, fostering a welcoming environment and collecting informal feedback to inform future programming decisions.
  • Attend and support all cultural programme events, representing the Club and ensuring smooth delivery.
  • Maintain programming databases, organise and record team meetings, and track event planning timelines.
  • Monitor RSVPs, attendance, and participation; prepare progress and event performance reports, including analysis of demographic engagement.
  • Assist with budget preparation, cost control, invoice processing, and revenue/costing reports for events.
  • Contribute to the development of podcasts, digital extensions, or similar initiatives to increase engagement and member value.
  • Suggest ongoing improvements to enhance the cultural programme and overall member experience.

  • Minimum 2–3 years of relevant experience in cultural programming. 

  • Strong understanding of local culture, traditions, and heritage.

  • Experience in cultural events, workshops, and activities.

  • Ability to engage guests and create meaningful cultural experiences.

  • Good organizational and time-management abilities.

  • Creativity in designing and improving cultural programs.
