The Arts Club Dubai is perfectly located in the heart of the DIFC, set over four floors and totaling 65,000 square feet, in the brand-new ICD Brookfield Place development designed by Foster + Partners.
It is the first international outpost of the celebrated and historical private members’ club, established in 1863 in Mayfair, London. The Arts Club Dubai unveils an amazing opportunity for a talented artisan to join our passionate and creative team.
The Assistant Head of Security will be supporting the Head of Security with ensuring the safety and protection of members, guests, colleagues and the property at all times, and implementing policies and procedures to maintain highest security and well-being standards within the Club. He/she will deputize for the Head of Security in his/her absence overseeing the entire operation of the Security department.
WHAT WILL YOU DO
- Your main duties and responsibilities are:
- Support with managing the development and implementation of global security policy, standards, guidelines and procedures, and create workplace violence awareness and prevention programs
- Ensure service ability, maintenance and upkeep of all security related equipment in all premises and outlets in the Club
- Control budgets for security operations and monitor expenses
- Support with planning and coordinating security operations for specific events in liaison with respective departments
- Participate in training Security Guards in all laid down drills and procedures related to safety and security standards in the Club
- Monitor alarms and CCTV cameras, and maintain liaison with local Police Station, Fire Station (Dubai Civil Defence) and nearest medical institution
- Monitor any security breach and write reports on incident that occurs within the Club are documented and escalated
- Coordinate with Dubai Police, CID and DCD if and when required
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- The successful candidate will have the following experience and skills:
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in same or similar role in luxury hotels or fine dining restaurant
- Has the ability to speak Arabic
- Excellent knowledge of all Fire Fighting equipment handling, First Aid and Life Saving standards and procedures
- Be detail oriented and demonstrate excellent surveillance and emergency response skills
- Have strong organisational and time management skills with a high degree of flexibility
- Demonstrate integrity in all dealings and maintain high level of confidentiality
- Possess a warm and friendly demeanor, and demonstrate self-confidence, energy and enthusiasm
- Ability to work long shifts and stand for the extended period of time
- Experience in dealing with VIP guests, artists and advance security detail teams
